Is there a possiblity for a herbivore animal like a wombat or giraffe to eat meat?

There's no possibility because, their digestive systems are not the strong enough or are not made for tough stuff like meat. With the wombat's case, their metabolism is extremely slow and leaves or grass is the most appropriate stuff for them to eat.
